Businesses have reported difficulty accessing the Inland Revenue's online filing system this morning – the last day of the month and a busy day for GST returns.
IRD has responded to NBR ONLINE's enquiries about the situation and said it was aware a small number of customers were unable to log in to its 'Secure Online Services' yesterday, but no issues have been reported today.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and assure anyone who is not able to meet their filing obligations that they will not be disadvantaged by something beyond their control," the IRD says in a statement.
