PwC New Zealand has elected Jonathan Freeman as its new chairman from July 1.
He replaces current chairman John Shewan, who retires on June 30.
Mr Freeman joined the firm in 2007 as a senior assurance partner specialising in working with businesses in New Zealand and Australia across a number of sectors including energy, retail and healthcare.
He has also spent the last two years as PwC’s people and culture leader.
