Kiwi company BBC Technologies bought by Tomra for $66.9m

The deal follows the 2016 purchase of Compac.

Hamilton-based fruit sorting manufacturer BBC Technologies has been bought by Norwegian-listed recycling, mining and food sorting company Tomra for $66.9 million.

The deal follows Tomra’s $70 million acquisition in late 2016 of Auckland-based fruit sorting company Compac.
