Kiwi Income quits National Bank centre.
Auckland’s National Bank Centre at 205 Queen Street is understood to be under contract.
If the deal is clinched it will go down as one of the biggest commercial sales of the year.
The rateable value of the property is $96 million, approximately the same price paid by listed Kiwi Income Property Trust in two transactions, the second in 2006.
The man who did the deal at that time was Kevin Richards, when he was working with DTZ.
Mr Richards is now with Barfoot & Thompson.
“I can’t say anything about the property at all. I can’t make any comment at this stage,” Mr Richards said.
