National MPs jeered at Labour in Parliament today when Gerry Brownlee revealed the party was surveying its supporters to find out what sort of image it should present.
He said Labour was tossing around options which included coming across as more futuristic, more reliable and honest, more non-confrontational, more cheeky or even a bit funky.
Labour is polling at around the 33 percent mark it scored in the last election, but the Government is so popular is it ahead by more than 20 points in most polls.
