ComCom charges Mercury under Fair Trading Act
Regulator says power company made false or misleading claims to customers about termination fees.
The regulator says Mercury wrongly told customers they would have to pay a $150 fee to terminate their power plans.
The Commerce Commission has filed charges against Mercury Energy under the Fair Trading Act for making false or misleading representations to customers they had to pay a termination fee to change their power plan.
