Gloriavale farms win injunction against Westland Dairy
Court rejects processor’s claim it could halt milk collections after Employment Court ruling.
A court ruling on Gloriavale’s abuse of child labour prompted Westland Dairy to refuse supply from the community’s farms.
The High Court has granted an interim injunction to the Gloriavale Christian community, forcing Westland Dairy Company, the sole milk processor on the South Island West Coast, to continue collecting milk from its farms.
