The High Court at Auckland has dismissed Sir George Fistonich’s bid to prevent the receivers of Villa Maria from retaining surplus funds to defend legal action being taken by the wine pioneer.

FFWL, the company that owns the winemaker, went into receivership in May 2021 with the first receivers
