Lion park buyer ordered to pay $43,000 by accountancy watchdog


A Tauranga accountant who bought the troubled Zion wildlife park has been penalised for ethics breaches.

A Tauranga accountant has been ordered to pay $43,000 costs after employing sloppy practices involving a family trust. 

Ian Leslie Stevenson is also the part-owner of Zion Wildlife Kingdom near Whangarei, and is the nephew of former National MP Bob Clarkson.
