PR veteran Klaus Sorensen has managed what few other unsecured creditors of Queenstown's troubled Kawarau Falls development are likely to do – get paid by Nigel McKenna.

Mr Sorensen’s public relations firm Sorensen Group went into liquidation last October with estimated debts of more than $600,000.
