Obesity and models will co-exist on the new MediaWorks TV channel FOUR.

The new-look channel will play host to both America’s Next Top Model and The Biggest Loser when it launches next month.

MediaWorks has just announced the revamped channel will go live on Sunday February 6.

Last year the company announced it would give its existing channel C4 a makeover to better align itself with the interests of advertisers.

The new FOUR will switch from targeting 15 to 39-year-olds to a wider demographic of 18 to 49-year-olds. It will shift away from music and toward entertainment.

The line-up will feature the likes of The Simpsons, Total Wipeout, Outsourced, Top Chef: Just Desserts and Community.

It will also see the return of Sesame Street to New Zealand screens for the first time in more than a decade, as part of a kids’ block of shows from 6-10am and 2-4pm on weekdays.
