Michael Hill nine month sales up 9 percent

The company also today said same store sales were up 8.6 percent in the nine months to the end of March to $359.7m. That included third quarter same store growth of 5.7 percent.
Australian same store sales growth for the nine months rose 9.5 percent to $244.4m, with all store sales up 10.5 percent to $250.9m.
In this country same store sales gained 3.5 percent to $76.7m for the nine months, with all sales up 4.7 percent to $77.6m. Canadian same store sales gained 13.5 percent to $30.5m, while all store sales lifted 22.1 percent to $35.9m.
In the United States, where store numbers were reduced to nine from 17 last June, same store sales lifted 13.4 percent to $8.1m, while all sales fell 28.2 percent to $8m.
