Anyone who visits NZX.com is greated with a giant Mighty River stock ticker.
Entrepreneur, investor and web design know-it-all Lance Wiggs approves of the home page takeover.
"A lot of people are visiting the NZX.com site today, with one thing on their mind - the Mighty River Power float," says Wiggs
"How delightful when we see in NZX an organisation that understands what its visitors want. A hearty well done."
NZX spokeswoman Kate McLaughlin says, "Given the large number of new retail shareholders in Mighty River Power who are visiting NZX.com today for information about the company's share price, we decided to provide this information easily and clearly to them. Mighty River Power did not pay for the webpage. It is in place for today only."
