National's new logo a no go?
The design has drawn a mixed response on social media (reportedly the only modern method of measurement that has any validity whatsoever).

The unveiling of the National Party’s new logo today appears to have been something of a damp squib.
At time of writing it has largely been met with indifference by the mainstream media – indeed, Newshub, the only outlet to even mention it thus far merely noted that “the National Party has updated its logo with a more modern design. A simple white 'N' stands before a lighter shade of blue background. The logo has lost its red colour, with three white stars and one blue representing the Southern Cross.”
Fortunately, however, it has generated a more mixed response on social media (reportedly the only modern method of measurement that has any validity whatsoever).
The hot takes have come thick and fast and, for the most part, appear to be facetious at best:

One of the firmer opinions I picked up in a year of design study was 'just a giant initial capital' is a waste of space identity design

Very bold meta move by the National Party to so baldly state what its rebrand is meant to convey in its new logo pic.twitter.com/HiwXBAL9Mn
