The country’s largest retailer, The Warehouse, has a new chief financial officer.

Stephen Small joins the Warehouse from chief financial officer for General Motors Korea.

He is a New Zealander, who has spent 12 years working overseas, most recently in roles with general motors in Asia and the US.

Mr Small replaces Luke Bunt, who resigned in February.

His departure followed a string of top-level resignations at The Warehouse last year.

Scottish-born chief executive Ian Morrice handed over the reins to Mark Powell.

Keith Smith and chief operating officer Richard Lewis also stepped aside.
