New chief executive for HSBC New Zealand
HSBC has appointed Noel McNamara, currently head of commercial banking for HSBC Australia, its new New Zealand chief executive.

HSBC has appointed Noel McNamara, currently head of commercial banking for HSBC Australia, its new New Zealand chief executive.
Mr McNamara will succeed current New Zealand headDavid Griffiths, whose next posting has not yet been announced.
Mr McNamara has worked for HSBC Bank Australia since 1995 in various roles including commercial banking, corporate banking, trade services and branch operations.
He takes up the New Zealand position on September 1, subject to local regulatory approvals.
