A retail service station in the fast growing Bethlehem area, north of Tauranga, will be the first development by Greenstone Energy -- the company which now owns and operates Shell New Zealand's former retail and distribution assets.
Greenstone -- jointly owned by Infratil and the New Zealand Superannuation Fund -- had resource consents for the site, where construction was expected to start in June with the station to be trading by October, Greenstone general manager of retail Mark Forsyth said.
The new facility would trade under the Shell brand.
