HY earnings takeoff for Queenstown Airport, as traffic surges
Airline passenger traffic was at 1.36 million for the half year, helping drive revenues to $43.6m, up 8% on the prior year.
International arrivals were up 11% into Queenstown to December.
There were 10,096 scheduled flights into Queenstown Airport during the six months to December, which saw 1.46 million travellers through the gate of the regional airport.
That was an increase in footcount by 115,532, or almost 4300 arrival/departures per week, for a period which covered the winter
