RNZAF P-3 makes last search and rescue mission
Orion finds two missing Kiribati fishermen.
The RNZAF P-3 Orions will be retired at the end of January.
An RNZAF P-3K2 Orion aircraft successfully located two Kiribati fishermen who had been missing for six days in what was likely to be the Air Force’s last search and rescue operation by this type of aircraft.
