NZX 50 hits over 8000 points – but analysts warn it's not as good as it looks

Don’t get too excited about the S&P/NZX 50’s most recent milestone as a lot of the growth in the index has been distorted, analysts say.
The NZX 50 index this week pushed through 8000 points for the first time and yesterday rose 27.53 points, or 0.3 percent, to close at 8,037.81, a new record
