Tourism operator Skyline Enterprises has appointed Blair Deasy general manager of Totally Tourism, a company Skyline acquired in August. Mr Deasy has been Skyline Queenstown general manager for over six years. Kellie Goodwin has been appointed Totally Tourism marketing manager. Mr Goodwin is Skyline Queenstown sales development manager and has been with the company for four and a half years. Lyndon Thomas moves to Queenstown to become general manager of Skyline Queenstown. Mr Thomas has been Skyline Luge Sentosa general manager for five years. Danny Lukehas been appointed Skyline Luge Sentosa general manager following several years working between Skyline Luge Tremblant and Skyline Luge Sentosa.
The Local Government Funding Agency has appointed Phil Combes chief executive. Mr Combes has led the Treasury’s Debt Management Office for almost a decade. Other previous experience includes leadership of semi-government issuer Tascorp in Tasmania.
Audrey Noakeshas been appointed national business develo-ment manager at recruitment agency Kelly Services. Ms Noakes has previously worked at Gaulter Russell, Sheffield and Momentum Consulting.
Emma Graham has been appointed business development manager for the Auckland area. Previously, Ms Graham worked for the Radio Network in Tauranga as the national contact centre manager, initially joining the company as an advertising services co-ordinator. Richard Clark has been appointed business develop-ment manager for Canterbury. Previously, Mr Clark was employed as a sales consultant for Circle Group and as Savvy Marketing sales manager.
Kris Nygren has been appointed general manager for Auckland-based Optimal Usability. He joined the company in July.
Craig Herbison has been appointed Bank of New Zealand chief marketing officer. Mr Herbison will join the 150-year-old bank’s leadership team at the end of the month. Currently he is brand and marketing communications general manager for Australian directories company Sensis in Melbourne.
Ross Dowie has recently re-joined the Harcourts team as northern business development manager, looking after over 50 offices and more than 500 salespeople in the northern region. Previously an owner of a national IT company, Mr Dowie joined the real estate industry in 1999 with Harcourts in Paraparaumu. Robert Tulp has become Harcourts’ national auction manager. Mr Tulp has been working for Harcourts franchise group Cooper & Co on Auckland’s North Shore for the past few years as an auctioneer and trainer. He is a recipient of the REIWA Grand Master Salesman and has been the top agent in Western Australia for its biggest group, First National. Chris Kennedy has joined Harcourts as Christchurch business development manager, taking over from acting business development manager Jim Davis. Mr Kennedy has for the last 12 months been working with the Twiss Keir Group, a Harcourts franchise, assisting it to build its auction business.
EMC Corporation has appointed Phillip Patton country manager for New Zealand. Until recently Mr Patton was general manager of sales for IBM New Zealand.
Dairy farmer co-op LIC has appointed Nicky Bowdenanimal systems business manager and Olivia Derecourtland and feed business manager. Both Ms Bowden and Ms Derecourt have worked in a range of product management and development roles at the company.
Enprise has appointed Michael Jacobson senior CRM consultant. Previously, Mr Jacobsen held a senior CRM consultant role at Business Mechanix. While there he ran a team of six CRM consultants, performing pre-sales, consulting, implementation and post go-live support.
NZ Law has appointed Simon Price as chairman and elected David Graham as a director. Mr Price has taken over from Hastings lawyer Jim Ferguson, who has retired from the board. A partner in Christchurch law firm Mackintosh Bradley & Price, Mr Price specialises in business acquisitions, structuring and trusts. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and has been a director of NZ Law since 2007. Mr Graham is a director in Auckland law firm DG Law, based in Panmure.
