What they spent.
What they spent.
The latest round of government ministers' expenses and credit card records has been released. MPs' expenses have also been released.
The full schedule of expenses claimed by members of Parliament is available here and expenses by ministers here.
Earlier releases of credit cards records for ministers and their staff revealed excessive and wrong spending but after the information started being released publicly spending has been more restrained.
The latest statements and reconciliations are for the period from January 2011 to March 2011
Last year Labour's Shane Jones, Mita Ririnui and Chris Carter were demoted over their behaviour while others were left embarrassed by revelations of excessively expensive dinners and drinks.
In 2009 saw Phil Heatley resign from Cabinet after admitting he misused his credit card.
However he was reinstated after an Auditor-General's inquiry found that while he spent $1402 of taxpayers' money wrongly he did not intentionally break the rules. The Auditor-General then started the wider review.
