Fair pay legislation likely to be introduced this year

Workplace Relations Minister says employers and employees will benefit from fair pay agreements.

Workplace Relations Minister Michael Wood expects fair pay agreements will take pressure off the need to increase the minimum wage.

The minimum wage goes up to $20 an hour on April 1 this year, the equivalent of a slightly more than 25% increase since 2017.
