Government considers social insurance, provides more worker support

People who lose or have lost their jobs because of Covid-19 will be eligible for payments of $490 a week for 12 weeks while they look for another job.
Part-time workers will get $250 a week.
Based on the budget fiscal and economic update, about 230,000 people could receive the income relief
