Labour pledges to expand video game sector rebate
The party said lowering the minimum threshold could mean an extra 10 to 15 companies would be eligible for the rebate.
The Labour Party wants to expand the scope of the Game Development Sector Rebate (GDSR) at no extra cost, to make more money available to local studios.
The previous Labour government unveiled the rebate for video game developers in 2023, setting aside $160 million in funding over four years.
