Nicholas rejoined NBR in its Wellington office in November 2024 after a seven-month sabbatical spent travelling the world. He originally joined the company in Auckland in October 2022 after spending the first four years of his career at RNZ. In his first stint with NBR, Nicholas was the youngest NZ Shareholders Association Business Journalist of the Year in 2023. He also took out the prize for “Best Feature” for his investigation into the Validus multi-level marketing scheme. Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys reading, swimming, oriental carpets and reality television.
