On the NBR List? Watch out for the IRD

Act says everyone should worry about the broad powers given to Inland Revenue.

The Inland Revenue is using the NBR List, previously the NBR Rich List, to go after wealthy individuals and get more information about what they own.

It is not being used to assess people’s tax obligations but instead will inform IRD’s advice on future tax proposals.
