Baldwin Boyle Group (BBG) PR guru Greg Shand is selling up and leaving the agency after 25 years with the firm.

BBG is primarily known for handling Fonterra’s highly lucrative PR account.

Mr Shand is relinquishing his 26% shareholding in the company, which he joined while working in Singapore in the 80s.

Incoming shareholders are Daniel Riordan, managing director of BBG Thailand, and New Zealand deputy managing director Piet de Jong.

Other existing shareholders are Brenda Baldwin (29.49%), Kylie Taylor (20.12%), Graeme McMillan (10.71%) and Louise Nicholson (13.64%).

Ms Baldwin said Mr Shand had played a significant role in growing the agency’s Asia Pacific Network and that it was fitting his shareholding would pass to a new generation of management.

Mr Shand’s next career step is as yet unknown.
