The long-awaited sale of the developer’s Birkenhead property for a retirement village has fallen through, and the site is headed to mortgagee tender.

Black Robin Equity’s last viable asset has hit the market as a mortgagee sale, likely snuffing out any chance that its investors will recoup their funds in the foundering property investment firm.
