Queenstown house prices up $455k, breach $1.8 million
A perfect storm of bigger deals but fewer overall sales saw the January median price come in at an all-time record for the resort town, up a third on the prior month alone.
The median house price in Queenstown-Lakes surged by a third last month to a record $1.83 million, adding $455,000 to the median achieved the prior month.
That's the equivalent of the current median house price in South Taranaki or Invercargill, according to latest Real Estate Institute data,
