The red sticker on Christchurch Casino has been removed after an inspection for damage, Sky City (NZX:SKC) chief executive Nigel Morrison said today.

"The Christchurch Casino remains located within the cordoned area and as previously announced it appears to have escaped any major structural damage," he said.

"Council engineers made an initial assessment of the property yesterday (Tuesday), and deemed it to be in the limited category (yellow sticker), allowing access but needing further evaluation from the casino’s consultants.

"Initially, a red sticker was in place following last Tuesday’s earthquake, denying entry to the casino until further inspection. As this has now been completed, the building has a yellow sticker."
