Beer consumption peaks above pre-pandemic levels
While alcohol volumes are up without lockdowns, hospitality is still a mixed bag.
Total beer available for consumption in the first half of 2022 was 134.3 million litres.
First-half beer consumption has reached above pre-pandemic levels, a measure which supposedly signals the recovery of the brewing and hospitality industries out the back of the Covid lockdowns.
