Rob Fyfe to leave Trilogy board, seeks new senior role in NZ

Wed, 11 Jul 2018

Former Air New Zealand boss Rob Fyfe will leave the board of Trilogy International [NZX: TIL], the skincare products and scented candle maker, after this month's annual meeting as he looks for a new full-time executive role in New Zealand.

Fyfe, who finished up at the airline this year, told the Trilogy board he wouldn't seek re-election at the Sept. 24 annual meeting in June to "refocus his energies towards seeking a new full-time executive role when he returns to New Zealand next year," the company said in a statement. Fyfe has no intention to reduce his shareholding.

He will be replaced by Australian-based Mandy Sigaloff, who founded online fashion website ClubQT Australia, and is a 17-year veteran in managing media brands for British media firm Emap.

Trilogy, which rebranded from Ecoya earlier this year, rejigged its board in 2012 after deciding to cut the number of directors after an internal review, which saw Collette Dinnigan, Craig Schweighoffer and Deeta Colvin depart.

Shares in Trilogy were unchanged at 67 cents, having shed 32 percent this year.
