Sky TV factor helps keep inflation tame

No change expected in interest rates until late next year.

Annual inflation came in bang on the Reserve Bank’s forecast at 1.5%, with housing and household utilities contributing the most to the increase.

Petrol prices also rose strongly, up 3.2%, but this was offset by lower prices for used cars, down 3.3%, and for home entertainment.
