Sky Network Television’s (SKT) net profits rose 16.7% to $120 million.

In statements to the NZX, Sky posted revenue of $797 million for the year to June 30, up 7.4% on the year prior.

The revenue increase was mostly a result of an 11.3% increase in revenue from wholesale customers.

Ebita increased 11.9% to $322 million and subscriber numbers increased by 27,024 to 829,421.

The filings note Sky has recently signed a three-year renewal of its wholesale agreement with Telecom.
