The Treasury is looking for a consultant to provide it with a profit analysis of New Zealand State-owned Enterprises.
The companies covered by the project will be all 15 operational SOEs, plus Television New Zealand, the Public Trust and Air New Zealand.
Tender documents for the work said the profit analysis would be expected to cover a minimum of five years, with a strong preference to incorporate 10 years or more of analysis, if feasible.
To assist with the project, the Crown Ownership Monitoring Unit is able to supply financial data for the five financial years to 2009/10 in electronic form.
However, it is not able to verify that the data will be complete or accurate for purposes of the chosen methodology for the analysis.
The verification of all data will remain the responsibility of the consultant.
The indicitive budget for the review is between $60,000 and $120,000.
Proposals must be received by noon on August 23.
