Some competition for NZ's Martin Jetpack

Here's some competition for NZ's Martin Jetpack (as it begins its now traditional annual attempt to juice investor interest; sorry Stuff, NBR gave up a couple of years back).

Yves Rossy, a Swiss pilot with a jet-propelled wing, flies close to a Breitling Douglas DC-3 passenger aircraft in a flight posted to YouTube June 29.

Unlike the Martin Jetpack, Jetman's wing needs an assisted take-off and can only fly for 10 minutes - but while the Jetpack gently hovers, Jetman can zip along at up to 300km.
