Speaker Lockwood Smith will lead a Parliamentary delegation to Spain, Turkey and Israel starting next week.
The delegation, including National MP Chris Tremain and Labour's Darren Hughes and David Shearer, will spend five days in Spain during which they will meet King Juan Carlos I and hold discussions with senior politicians.
The group will also meet with representatives from companies with a New Zealand connection, including the sponsors of New Zealand's entry in the 2011 Volvo Ocean Race, before heading to Turkey and Israel, where high level meetings will include time with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Disgraced ACT MP David Garrett was set to go on the tour until he resigned from his party last Friday.
The group returns on October 9.
