Steel & Tube and watchdog to appeal fine over steel mesh claims

Regulator says $1.89m fine not enough, Steel & Tube says the opposite.

The Commerce Commission has confirmed it will appeal against a record $1.89m fine against Steel & Tube for false and misleading representations in relation to steel mesh.

However, Steel & Tube is also appealing and says the fine is excessive.
