Norway's prime minister, Jens Stoltenberg, is one of thousands stranded at New York's JFK airport by the Eyjafjallajokull* eruption in Iceland.
Of all the countries in all the world to be stranded, the US is of course the best, for it is the only one where you can buy an iPad.
Mr Stolenberg duly picked up an Apple tablet, and told CNN the wonder gadget allows him to run his country from the transit lounge (evidently, you don't need Adobe Flash to run a nation state).
Least anyone in Scandinavia, or the world at large, miss the PM's tech-savvy manoeuvres, Norwegian government officials are updating his exploits on a Flickr photo stream.
