National MP Tau Henare is back at work and happy to know he has a heart.
Mr Henare, 49, was hospitalised after having a heart attack last month.
On Facebook Henare described how he had a stent put in to keep blocked arteries open.
He returned to Parliament this week.
When he stood up to speak during question time today Labour MPs welcomed him back.
"Thank you, thank you very much," he replied.
"They found a heart."
To which one Labour MP replied: "We were surprised you had a heart".
