Trade Me acquires a 50% stake in Stuff Digital

The deal sees Trade Me acquire a stake in the company that owns the stuff.co.nz website.

Trade Me has acquired a 50% stake in Stuff’s digital business for an undisclosed sum.

It’s a full circle moment for the online marketplace as Stuff’s previous owner, Fairfax, bought Trade Me for $750m in 2006 before selling its position in 2012 to cover its debts.
