Telecom dumps Contagion

The telco is in the process of restructuring its agency relationships.

Contagion has lost Telecom’s business as the telco restructures its agency relationships.

The agency had been working on the teleco's social and activation/events business.

Telecom general manager of brand, communications and digital Kellie Nathan says the agency had added a huge amount of value to the telco over the past 12 months, but Telecom is now moving towards integrating social media into everything it does.

In today’s NBR Print edition, Mrs Nathan says social media is the last piece of the puzzle for Telecom as it completes its shake-up of agency relationships.

It remains unclear whether Mrs Nathan will appoint a new agency after having brought social media capabilities in-house.
