No surprise the public purse is once more opened to top up substandard private sector wages, this time for bus drivers.

After an announcement this week, it looks as though the New Zealand Government and councils around the country will be subsidising bus operators to the tune of millions in order to eventually pay bus drivers $30 an hour.
