Todd Barclay to resign over 'dictaphonegate'

Update: National MP Todd Barclay has announced he will not stand as the candidate for Clutha-Southland in the 2017 election, and will leave Parliament at the end of this term.  More to come.

Updated: Prime Minister Bill English has said he'll answer further questions on the future of Todd Barclay at his press conference in Wellington at 2pm today.

Mr Barclay didn't appear for a scheduled select committee this morning and has pulled out of an Auckland event tonight.
