The TVNZ-NZ Marketing awards honoured the game changers at an awards ceremony in Auckland last night.

The most coveted award of the evening went to Progressive Enterprises for the successful merger of it’s three supermarket brands. Judges said it was bold new positioning based on an enhanced definition of consumer value.

Judges thought Progressive Enterprises accomplished an extremely difficult undertaking and demonstrated a bold and well-aligned business strategy with a well-executed marketing plan.

Hall of Fame inductee Jeremy Irwin was unable to attend but accepted his award at a breakfast last week.

Mr Irwin was applauded for his immense contribution to the industry, particularly when defending his members’ rights to advertise and helping bring about a much closer understanding between advertisers, agencies and media.
