Top radio duo head for TRN /hecked
They are currently afternoon hosts for MediaWorks' youth radio brand The Edge.
Radio hosts Carl Fletcher and Vaughan Smith, better known as “Fletch and Vaughan,” will leave MediaWorks to join rival The Radio Network.

The latest Radio Bureau figures rank the duo's show at No 1 in the drive time position nationwide.
The pair also took home the Best Music Non-Breakfast Hosts (Metropolitan) award at this year's NZ Radio awards.
The Radio Network chief executive Jane Hastings says the pair will join TRN in 2014 to work with new chief content officer Dean Buchanan.
Ms Hastings says details for their new show have not yet been finalised but the duo will work on one of the station’s recently refreshed brands. Ms Hastings said a producer for the show was undecided.
Mr Buchanan is an industry veteran, recently lured back from Australia by TRN. He has been working there for more than 15 years for DMG radio and launched the Nova Network.
