Remarkables aim to jump Cardrona to become NZ’s biggest skifield
Plans include a new 10-seat, 2.7km gondola and doubling annual capacity to half a million visitors.

NZSki says its will add 262 hectares of skiable terrain to The Remarkables ski basin outside Queenstown at a cost of $150 million.
The company, owner of nearby Coronet Peak and Methven's Mt Hutt hills, said it had lodged an application for the expansion under the fast-track approval process.
