US visitors hit all-time high, Chinese numbers subdued

February showed 354,400 overseas visitors, still 63,500 down on the same time in 2019.
US spending power helped boost the number of North Americans transiting through New Zealand borders by almost 10,000 during February, offset by fewer Chinese visitors and leaving international arrivals at 85% of pre-pandemic levels.
