TV One unveils Rugby World Cup schedule and commentary teams


TV One has released its broadcast schedule and revealed its commentary team for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

TV One has released its broadcast schedule and revealed its commentary team for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

One News Sport presenter and rugby editor, Andrew Saville and All Black Legend, Jeff Wilson will call the games for TVNZ. Saville is a very experienced commentator who has called Rugby, Tennis, Olympics and Commonwealth Games for two decades on radio and television.

Mr Wilson describes himself as a, “novice and lucky enough to have the best seat in the house for the World Cup Final”.

Radio’s Sport Broadcaster of the Year, Martin Devlin has been signed up to present the Rugby World Cup following the success of the FIFA World Cup coverage on TV One last year.

Mr Devlin will also host a late night highlights show and expert panel discussion, RWC 2011 Tonight, during the tournament.
